Great food! This is a neat out if the way spot right in town. The food is awesome and at a good price. I have always had great service and never waited to long. They also have a section of spices if you want to try your hand at creating Mexican food at home.

Great street tacos good price as well.

Best tacos ever!! I'm a regular and eat there minimum 3 times a week. I cant get enough of their tacos. And great staff as well, they really know how to take care of their customers

Food is great but it took 45 minutes to get my TOGO order and I had to leave without my food because I was on my lunch break. So dissatisfied.

genuinely amazing food (very authentic and cozy place) and good service. mens bathroom was out of soap, but that was the only issue! not worth taking a star off.

This is a great place to eat a torta. Not a lot of meat on it though. But I prefer veggies.

This small Restaurant is big on Flavor. Menu Board is at the Checkout. All the food we ordered tasted fresh and delicious. They have a Grocery store inside the Restaurant. The soft drinks have the "good" ice that is fun to crunch. They have a range of pricing options, so you could get a snack for under $2 or a Meal for $10. Mostly Coke products plus Diet Dr pepper. I was worried when the Restaurant was in a shopping center, but the food was so On Point that I feel silly for being worried.

I nearly always ordered asada and barbacoa tacos; the ingredients are super fresh and always worth the wait (if at a busy time). I wish I had discovered this Jose’s sooner! Their horchata and jimaica are SO refreshing and both pair perfectly with the tacos!

Best food in Tahlequah hands down!

Great mom and pop restaurant. The whole family runs the store. You might have a little bit of a wait but it is well worth it. Best guac in town and the prices are awesome. My all time favorite Mexican restaurant.

Good carne asada!

Food was great but it took almost 30 minutes to get 4 tacos. There was only 4 tables filled with less than 10 people so it should not have been due to a rush of customers.

Like this little hole in the wall restaurant. Order at the back counter, the food comes out, pay at the front counter. The best part is the small Mexican market set up on one end of the restaurant, and the authentic packaged desserts at the checkout counter.

Delicious food at a fair price

So very good. The beef quesadilla is my favorite but the street style tacos are also yummy. Gets very crowded at lunch but worth waiting for.

Jose's Mexican Restaurant has the best steak tacos and queso hands down. I couldn't tell you how many times I have eaten at Jose's sometimes it is three times a week. The great food and fast service just never gets old. I guess the low prices also makes it a great choice for family get gatherings whether you dine in or get it to go. Dang now I'm hungry for Jose's again.

Very small and atmosphere is not the best. Must order at counter. However the steak tacos were very good! Much more traditional mexican food. They offer different meats including cow tongue and cheek. However they have steak and chicken for those not so adventurous. There salsa verde is some of the best I've ever tasted if you don't mind a little spice. Also have excellent guacamole.

Talk about authentic Mexican food. Well then you really will love it here. The servers are fast and friendly.

Dropped my son off for college and decided to try this place out. I got the menudo, I wished it had hominy in it but it was the best I've had in a very long time! Son had the enchiladas and he said they were the best he's had. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

My favorite Mexican place, hands down. Guacamole is the best I've eaten anywhere and the lengua tacos and/or gorditas are the best thing ever. Do yourself a favor and try them.

This place is the closest thing to eating at a taqueria in Austin, Texas that Tahlequah has to offer. The green sauce makes my hair feel like its growing -- love that slow heat feeling. Decent prices and portions. A MUST EAT!

Tacos and Gordita delicious. Great prices. Great family run business. You’ll need a full hour for lunch or you’ll have to rush to eatwhen delivered to your table.

Our food was Great. I personally like ordering from my table and having drinks brought. However their set-up was smooth and quick. I'm looking forward to more selections from their menu.

We are the food so quickly I forgot to take pics!!! The Sopes & Gorditas are my favorite!!! Can’t get enough of their guacamole & chips!! They will add jalapeño peppers if you ask!

Authentic! The best hidden spot in Tahlequah. Always hot and fresh food. The atmosphere is quiet and cozy. They have a nice selection of different types of meat. Get out of your comfort zone and try something new, you will not be disappointed. Do not be in a hurry when ordering, whether over the phone or in person. Everything is made fresh as you order it. Call in orders take on average 20 minutes.

The BEST authentic tacos. Their guac is amazing as well. You cannot go wrong with anything you chose here.

Our favorite little hole in the wall place. REAL mexican food. Legit best guacamole you will ever have. Best street tacos ever as well. The quesadillas are amazing. Sopes, burritos, gordita, torta, rice, salsa, cheese dip, horchata, everything we've had is great honestly!

Best street tacos I’ve ever had. Even better than I’ve had in Mexico. I also highly recommend the quesadilla. Very good with the verse salsa.The horchata is so good. Kind of an acquired taste for those not used to it, but very good.They’re packed every day around lunchtime so if you’re in a hurry you need to plan on a few extra minutes.

The place had customer coming and going so that was a good sign of things to come. They lady who took my order was pleasant and efficient. A sat down and after a short wait my food was delivered to my table. Everything looked great and tasted good, I had asada filled enchiladas. My only complaint is that the cheese sauce I requested on my enchiladas was a little cool, so I deducted a star. Other than that, it was good.
